Section Foreman - Piling & Infrastructure Works

Location: Norwich
Schedule: Monday to Friday (10 hours a shift)
Pay Rate: £26.90 per hour
Overtime:

  • 1.33 × hourly rate for hours worked over 10 per day
  • 1.5 × hourly rate on weekends

We are looking for an experienced Section Foreman to oversee piling and infrastructure works, including the construction of two new free-flowing slip roads. This role will involve managing a section of works, coordinating with site teams, and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate site activities within your section of work
  • Oversee piling operations and related infrastructure tasks
  • Manage the construction of two new slip roads, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications
  • Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are implemented and followed
  • Monitor progress, quality, and resource allocation
  • Provide clear daily briefings and progress updates to the site manager

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Section Foreman on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of piling works and road construction methods
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • CSCS Gold or Black card and SSSTS/SMSTS qualification preferred
  • Strong focus on health, safety, and quality
