AFI acquires former Quick Reach lifts

1 day AFI Rentals has bought more than 500 assets from the fleet of collapse competitor Quick Reach.

Powered access hire company Quick Reach fell into administration in May 2025. AFI Rentals has now concluded The deal was negotiated and concluded with the administrators of Quick Reach, Alvarez & Marsal, for the purchase of assets.

AFI has bought more than 500 machines for an undisclosed sum. They include a range of types and brands: JLG, Genie, Dingli, Skyjack, Niftylift, Haulotte, Manitou and JCB.

Some will be integrated into AFI’s rental fleet; others will be added to stock at AJ Access Platforms and made available for sale.

AFI Group chief executive David McNicholas said: “The addition of these machines will support the ongoing growth of our rental and resale businesses.  In particular, the fleet additions provide an extended number and range of Superset booms and scissors to support our customers”
