BAM’s new Danish business lands first contract

27 Aug 14 BAM Danmark has won its first contract, a €4.5m (£3.6m) deal for the Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

The contract is for an office on DTU’s campus in Kongens Lyngby, 15km north of Copenhagen. It is BAM’s first non-residential building contract in Denmark.

Royal BAM Group founded BAM Danmark earlier this year to establish a permanent branch office aimed at the Danish non-residential construction market.

The DTU project involves the construction of a 1,300m2 office, which will connect the clean room facilities of the national centre for micro- and nanofabrication and an existing building. The new building will provide office space to researchers at DTU Nanotech and is due for completion next year.
