Rob Melling, chief executive of Curtins, says the move will ensure continuity of service for a number of key clients. 鈥淭im has an outstanding reputation in the private developer market and will strengthen that part of our business.聽 It鈥檚 good that a Liverpool business has been able to provide the solution to this issue,鈥 said Melling.
鈥淲e鈥檝e held our own during the recession,鈥 said Melling, 鈥渁nd this acquisition is part of our strategy of reducing exposure to public sector markets.聽 We鈥檝e got a healthy mix of projects going forward in what remains a challenging market.鈥
Gary Lee, partner at Begbies Traynor and Liquidator of Bingham Davis said: 鈥淚n what is a very challenging market this is a positive outcome for the clients of Bingham Davis and the company鈥檚 creditors. When liquidation is the only alternative, a deal that preserves expertise and intellectual property must be considered a success.鈥
