While the first maintenance intervention remains at 500  operating hours, thereafter operators of Liebherr’s newest material handling machines can carry on for 1,000 hours.
The extended interval now applies to electric and diesel-powered material handling machines of the LH 40 to LH 150 (electric drive) and LH 30 to LH 150 (diesel drive) models.
With the new maintenance interval of 1,000 operating hours, maintenance costs can be reduced by up to 30%, Liebherr says.
It says that the new maintenance regime has been made possible by optimisations in conjunction with Liebherr original spare parts and Liebherr. Filters and oil now need changing less, the company said.
The newly defined maintenance intervals apply only when using Liebherr original spare parts together with Liebherr’s lubricants and operating fluids.
