Demolition, including a specialist archaeological assessment, is expected to take five weeks. It will start in mid- March, once all the asbestos has been removed from the court building. The new development will provide an entertainment and leisure venue for Cheshire West & Chester Council.
Subject to planning permission, there will be a swimming pool, gym and a multi-purpose theatre. It will also feature a conference venue, community spaces and a caf茅 and bar. The project is being funded by the council, in partnership with the Weaver Valley Partnership Board, and managed by its capital delivery team.
