James Davies is joining Skanska UK on 1^st September as divisional director, overseeing key construction projects regionally across the UK and leading strategic plans within the defence and healthcare markets.

He will be reporting to executive vice president Terry Muckian.

Davies is currently an operations leader at Laing O鈥橰ourke. Before that he was director of major projects (science & health) at ISG.

Currently, Skanska UK is delivering major projects within the defence market, including the Vehicle Storage and Support Programme for the British Army at Ashchurch in Gloucestershire. It is also pursuing opportunities within healthcare as well as growing regional presence, such as with the Botanic Place development in Cambridge.
