VolkerFitzpatrick has been appointed by Arrow Capital Partners as the main contractor for Arrow Point Bolton, a 327,000 sq ft speculative logistics development north of Manchester.
The development, which received planning permission in January 2025, will comprise two high-specification warehouses of 107,500 sq ft and 220,250 sq ft. Both units are scheduled for completion in the first half of 2026 and will be available for immediate occupation.
The location is in Middlebrook, just off junction six of the M61.
Arrow Point Bolton is aiming for a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ certification and an EPC ‘A’ rating, with features including rooftop photovoltaic panels, EV charging points, a 4.5 MVA power supply, 15-metre eaves, 82 HGV trailer bays, 32 dock levellers, and five-level access doors.
