BAE鈥檚 Central Training Facility will house a teaching block with reception, classrooms and offices. The development will also include a central 鈥榮treet鈥� with welfare facilities, craft workshops, changing rooms and a restaurant.
Wates recently completed the new Resolution Building for BAE, the first new-build in the Barrow shipyard鈥檚 redevelopment programme.
Wates regional managing director Phil Harrison said: 鈥淗aving started my working life as a shipbuilding apprentice in Barrow, I take great pride in being a part of such an important development and I can personally attest to the difference that this significant investment will make to the careers of local people.鈥�
