Lettings Administrator

Job Description

Lettings Administrator - Hammersmith - £28,000 to £32,000 Dependant on Experience

My client, a prestigious boutique Estate Agency in the West London area, are currently looking for a hard working Lettings Administrator to assist with the day-to-day lettings administration and smooth running of the lettings team.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established brand coming into a friendly and family feel team who really take care of their staff.

Duties/Functions of the role:

  • Organisational support to the Lettings Team
  • Day to day administrative support and co-ordination of the Lettings Team
  • Maintaining the Lettings database
  • Managing the Lettings Team Diary
  • Preparing and coordinating the advertising and marketing
  • Meeting and registering clients
  • Assisting in securing and retaining Landlords
  • Preparing documentation, KYC and compliance for Applicants and Landlords
  • Progressing tenancies from offer to move in
  • Filing, photocopying and general administrative duties
  • Answering the telephones
  • Actively work towards the letting of our clients' properties
  • Acknowledging and being responsible for your actions in respect of the 1979 Estate Agents Act and all related legislation including the Consumer Protection Regulations 2008 (training to be given)
  • Ensuring AML checks are made on all clients as per regulations, lisiase with the compliance officer for support and directio
  • Respecting clients' confidentiality at all times and providing an excellent customer service
  • Attending relevant training courses

Requirements of the role:

  • At least 1+ years' administration experience, experience working in the property industry would be advantageous but not essential
  • A cheerful and positive approach to work with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Be smartly presented and able to handle a public-facing role - both face-to-face and over the telephone
  • The ability to prioritise and manage a number of tasks simultaneously, to ensure nothing is missed and maintain up to date all electronic files
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent computer literacy and a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Experience using 'Alto' software would be a bonus but is not essential

Salary Budgets: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum DOE
Required working hours: 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. With the requirement of 1 Saturday a month 9.30am to 4pm.
