Yanmar Compact Equipment has announced the launch of its SV39 mini excavator.
With a 3,670 to 3,885 kg operating weight, it is designed for versatility, precision and ease of operation.
According to Yanmar, the defining feature of the SV39 is its stability. Built with an optimised weight distribution and reinforced undercarriage, the machine stays solid even under heavy loads or on uneven terrain, the manufacturer claims. A short arm and cabin configuration further enhances performance, delivering up to 20% greater lifting capacity compared to typical machines in the same weight class, Yanmar says. An optional additional counterweight (+160 kg) is also available.
The SV39 is tiltrotator-ready in both direct and sandwich mount, giving operators more flexibility and functionality for trenching, grading and landscaping jobs that demand maximum manoeuvrability.

Under the hood, the SV39 is powered by a Stage V 3TNV88-ESBV2 diesel engine, delivering 18.5 kW of net power at 2,200 rpm.
Bucket digging force is 32.8 kN and arm forces are 20.8 kN (short) and 18.9 kN (long). Maximum digging depth is 3,520 mm and reach is 5,370 mm (long arm).
Available in both canopy and cabin configurations, the SV39 can be fitted with either rubber or steel crawlers. Transport weight starts at 3,490 kg (canopy/rubber crawlers) and overall width is 1,740 mm.
