VolkerRail has secured an extension from London Trams following continued achievements throughout the framework, originally awarded in 2022, which has resulted in more than 861 metres of track and seven turnouts renewed across the Croydon tram network.
London Trams is a 28km, 39 tram stop network, serving Croydon and the surrounding areas in south London.
The embedded track replacement framework extension is part of a continued partnership between VolkerRail and London Trams, which dates back to 2012.
